VISIT TO SOFIA UNIVERSITY OF CIVIL ENGINEERING, ARCHITECTURE, AND GEODESY
Our Vice Rector responsible for International Relations, Prof. Dr. Ünal ÇAĞLAR, and the Director of the International Relations Office, Mehmet Fatih ÇÖMLEKÇİ, visited Sofia University of Civil Engineering, Architecture, and Geodesy on November 7-8, 2024, as part of internationalization efforts, engaging in various academic discussions.
On November 7, our representatives attended the university's 75th Anniversary events and panel as invited guests. On November 8, a meeting was held with Sofia University of Civil Engineering, Architecture, and Geodesy’s Rector, Assoc. Prof. Architect Gichka KUTOVA KAMENOVA; Vice Rector for International Cooperation, Assoc. Prof. Peter NIKOLOV; Dean of the Faculty of Hydraulic Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Petar FILKOV; Vice Dean of the Faculty of Hydraulic Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Ventzi BOJKOV; and Vice Rector for International Relations of Plovdiv Agricultural University, Prof. Dr. Dimo ATANASOV.
During the meeting, it was decided to make the ADAP (International Adaptive Approaches) Congress, which was held in 2023 under the leadership of our university with the theme of Green Adaptation, a regular event. The ADAP Congress is scheduled to be hosted by Sofia University of Civil Engineering, Architecture, and Geodesy in 2025, and by Plovdiv Agricultural University in 2027. At the end of the meeting, the three universities signed an additional agreement to expand their cooperation agreement and organize a joint congress.
