The Faculty of Theology at our university organized a tree-planting event under the motto “Let Me Have a Tree on Campus” on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. The event was held with the participation of Kırklareli Governor Uğur TURAN.
The event, held in the garden of the 3rd Central Classroom Building, was attended by Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Meryem ÇAMUR DEMİR, Prof. Dr. Serpil AKÖZCAN PEHLİVANOĞLU, and Prof. Dr. Raif CERGİBOZAN; Dean of the Faculty of Theology Prof. Dr. Mustafa CANLI; Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Erkan YILMAZ; Dean of the Faculty of Architecture Yasemin ALKIŞER BREGGER; Dean of the Faculty of Tourism Prof. Dr. Mustafa Cevdet ALTUNEL; Secretary-General Ahmet ŞİMŞEK; Provincial Mufti Yusuf EVİŞ; Forestry Operations Manager İsmail KARAKAYA; and our academic and administrative staff, along with students.
The event aimed to encourage participants to take responsibility for the care of the saplings they planted and to monitor their growth process. Academic and administrative staff, along with students, joyfully planted their trees in the soil.
