In cooperation with our university and the Kırklareli Provincial Health Directorate, the “Vefa”katçi Project was initiated to provide information and advisory services to disabled, elderly, solitary, and needy patients visiting the Kırklareli Training and Research Hospital. Students from the Vocational School of Health Services' Medical Documentation and Secretarial program will participate in this meaningful initiative.
On Thursday, December 12, 2024, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Serpil AKÖZCAN PEHLİVANOĞLU attended the project’s launch event held at the Kırklareli Training and Research Hospital.
The program began with opening speeches and a presentation of the project. Attendees included the Director of the Vocational School of Health Services, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aylin AYDIN SAYILAN, Chief Physician of the Kırklareli Training and Research Hospital, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Zeliha TÜRKYILMAZ, Acting President of the Public Hospitals Union of the Provincial Health Directorate, Dr. Okay KAŞIKEMAN, Acting President of Support Services, Hacer YERLİKAYA, hospital administrators, and the “Vefa”katçi project team.
Following the speeches, the event continued with a site visit by the protocol participants.
